The First Season

The series presents the Harmon family, Ben (Dylan McDermott), Vivien (Connie Britton) and her daughter Violet (Taissa Farmiga), who move to Los Angeles after Vivien suffers a miscarriage and Ben has an affair.

The fifth season

John Lowe (Wes Bentley) is a detective who has his marriage to medical Alex Lowe (Chloë Sevigny) shaken after the disappearance of his son Holden. Ryan Murphy, the director of the series, makes for AHS: all seasons are driven by strong women.
