There are also spiritual and scientific elements that manipulate the inhabitants of Briarcliff, including demonic possession and extraterrestrials.

The song''Lana Banana''

the''lana banana'' song was one of the best scenes of AHS - Asylum, I just loved this scene, it occurs when Lana found Judy in Briarcliff ...
'' In the common room, Lana approaches the dazed Judy and asks her name, offering hers to help her recover from the electroshock. This causes Judy to hallucinate playing "The Name Game" song on the jukebox and performing it with all the pacientes in the room. Lana brings her back to reality by telling her own Judy name.''

I'll let the song on youtube, will only be necessary to copy and paste the link below in your browser; )

On paper in Sarah AHS - Asylum

It surprises again with her new character Lana, who has a secret weapon this season: intuition. She is a lesbian journalist, sent to Briarcliff on his own girlfriend after nearly exposing the dark secrets of the institution.
the time is passed the story, homosexuality was considered a mental illness, and it would be necessary for special treatment to be made gay cure, why Lana was eventually arrested in Briarcliff, Sister Jude pitched all that Lana was hospitalized .

Some questions about asylum and their answers.

What were these aliens? What is their relationship with Kit?

First of all, one should remember that these creatures were not placed in the script only as something random. 1960 was a decade where the UFO cases burst and received enough attention. Betty and Barney Hill, a famous interracial couple who said they had been abducted by aliens in the 60s have provided the first publication that explained well comprehensively the issue of alien abduction, which came to inspire a book, a movie, and of course the double Kit and Soul Asylum Walker.
The aliens, extraterrestrials or STPs (whatever you prefer to call them) are beings of an unknown planet with a vast technological capacity. All abductions committed by them are part of an experiment involving Kit for unknown purposes, that's right, there is a certain reason. The most you can understand about the experiment is that it involves the genetic code of Kit and how it affects those who have contact with them (wives / partners and children abducted kit with them). The most accepted theory about it out of a speech Grace Bertrand (Lizzie Brocheré) in episode 12, "Continuum," which she says Kit was chosen to be a person fundamentally good and open-minded. Although the public claim that the plot involving aliens makes no sense, the plot involving these mysterious creatures have a well tied linearity and without "holes in the plot."

What were the creatures of the woods?

The creatures are the result of the terrible experiments of Dr. Arden in patients less fortunate Briarcliff. They are not zombies and not mutants, but in fact, gone through heavy treatments to resist radiation and genetic alterations. In a flashback shown in episode 6, "Origins of Monstrosity" Arden said his purpose with the creatures was to create human beings genetically resistant to nuclear attacks, any further changes in the genetic code and various other effects, coming to form a kind of serum variables syphilis and tuberculosis.

What is the Angel of Death's relationship with the demon that possessed Mary Eunice?

The Angel of Death (Frances Conroy) is a benign heavenly creature, and its purpose is to give a final rest to depression and despair within each person. The Devil is an evil creature, whose purpose is to hold up the innocent body to meet any kind of evil that has been assigned to do. When meeting with Mary Eunice (Lily Rabe) possessed by the Devil in episode 7, "Dark Cousin," the angel says that the two are cousins simply because the devil is an angel like him, only fallen.

Who was the detainee to look like the Angel of Death?

The inmate only looks like the Angel of Death at the head of Jude, ie no more than a hallucination. In the scene where Jude attacks a prisoner roommate in episode 12, "Continuum," she was designing the angel's face in the prisoner for fear increasingly the idea that he was close to dying.
